We’re excited to launch a brand new Bible study series starting tonight:
Introduction to Doctrine: Why What We Believe Matters

🗓 Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
📍Join us on Zoom

In a world where beliefs are often shaped by emotions, culture, or personal experience, we’re choosing to return to the firm foundation of God’s unchanging Word. This series is designed to ground us in essential Christian doctrines — truths that not only shape our understanding of God but also transform how we live, love, worship, and witness.

Why Doctrine Matters
Doctrine isn’t just for theologians — it’s for every believer who wants to grow in truth and maturity. Here’s what Scripture says:

It grounds us in truth. “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy…” — Colossians 2:6–8

It equips us for discernment. “…those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice…” — Hebrews 5:14

It strengthens our witness. “Always be prepared to give an answer…” — 1 Peter 3:15

It fuels our worship. “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!” — Romans 11:33–36

It builds unity. “There is one body and one Spirit… one Lord, one faith, one baptism…” — Ephesians 4:4–6

Tonight’s Topic: The Trinity
Key Doctrine: The Trinity is the Christian belief that God is one being in three co-equal, co-eternal persons:
Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.
This is not three gods — it is one God in perfect unity and distinction.

📖 Key Scripture: Matthew 3:16–17
At Jesus’ baptism, we see the Father speaking from heaven, the Son being baptized, and the Holy Spirit descending like a dove — all present, all divine, all one.

🧠 Why It Matters:
As Brittenne shared beautifully, the Trinity is not just a theological concept — it is the very heart of how we experience God’s love and salvation:

The Father’s love sent the Son.

The Son’s sacrifice redeemed us.

The Spirit’s power transforms us.

Understanding the Trinity helps us worship God fully, trust Him deeply, and walk in the Spirit daily.

👥 Whether you’re new to doctrine or want to deepen your theological understanding, we invite you to journey with us. Come ready to learn, discuss, and grow together.

We can’t wait to see you tonight. Bring your Bible, your questions, and a heart open to truth.

Let’s root our faith in what lasts — the Word of God.
